Eyeful Band, free pattern using QuadBow beads

MATERIALS: Bracelet
(for a 7.25-inch bracelet, not including clasp)
• About 3 yards of 6 lb. FireLine
• About 135 Color1 size 11/0 seed beads*
• About 175 Color2 size 11/0 seed beads*
• About 18 size 8/0 seed beads
• 7 IrisDuo beads
• 14 QuadBow beads
• clasp
* I used Miyuki brand seed beads. Toho brand may be a bit too fat for the size 11/0 seed beads needed.

NOTE: QuadBow beads have four holes so go through the numbered hole specified in the directions that follow:

In addition, position the QuadBow beads the way they appear in my illustrations.

Step 1: Thread your needle with a length of FireLine that you feel comfortable working with and add more as you need it. Leaving about a 10-inch tail for attaching one end of the clasp, string two 8/0 seed beads and go up through the third hole of a QuadBow bead.

Holding on to your tail thread, string three Color1 size 11/0 seed beads and go through the bottom hole of an IrisDuo bead.

String three more Color1 size 11/0 seed beads. Go down through the second hole of the QuadBow bead that you just strung.

Grab your tail thread and tie the beads together with a tight double knot:

Step 2: Go back around through the beads highlighted in RED:

Step 3: String three Color1 size 11/0 seed beads. Go across through the top hole of the IrisDuo bead that you added earlier (highlighted in RED):

Step 4: String three more Color1 size 11/0 seed beads. Go back around through the beads highlighted in RED to exit from the top-right seed bead:

Step 5: Go back across through the top hole of the IrisDuo bead that you added earlier (highlighted in RED):

Step 6: String three Color1 size 11/0 seed beads and go up through the second hole of a new QuadBow bead.

String two 8/0 seed beads and go around and down through the third hole of this same new QuadBow bead.

String three more Color1 size 11/0 seed beads and go across through the top hole of the IrisDuo bead below (highlighted in RED):

Step 7: Go back up and around through the beads that you added in the last step (highlighted in RED):

Step 8: Go back around through the beads highlighted in RED:

Step 9: String two Color2 size 11/0 seed beads.

Go down through the fourth hole in the QuadBow bead below (highlighted in RED):

Step 10: String eight Color2 size 11/0 seed beads.

Go down through the fourth hole in the QuadBow bead below (highlighted in RED):

NOTE: If your seed beads are on the small size, adding nine seed beads instead of eight may work better in this step and in Step 13, 25, 28 and subsequent repeats.

Step 11: String two Color2 size 11/0 seed beads.

Go across through the two 8/0 seed beads that follow (highlighted in RED):

Step 12: String two more Color2 size 11/0 seed beads.

Go up through the first hole in the QuadBow bead above (highlighted in RED):

String three Color1 size 11/0 seed beads and go through the bottom hole of a new IrisDuo bead.
String three more Color1 size 11/0 seed beads. Go down through the second hole of the QuadBow bead that you just strung.

Go across through the two 8/0 seed beads that follow (highlighted in RED):

Step 30: Go back around through the beads highlighted in RED:

Step 31: Repeat Step 16 to Step 30 until your bracelet is the length you want it, minus about a third-inch and the length of your clasp:

Step 32: To add your clasp, string size two 11/0 seed beads and an 8/0 seed bead. Go through your clasp and then back down through the size 8/0 seed bead that you just strung:

OPTIONAL: To make your band longer, add more seed beads than directed in this step and the next.

Step 33: String two more size 11/0 seed beads and go across through the size 8/0 seed beads at the end of the band (highlighted in RED):

Step 34: Go back around through the seed beads highlighted in RED and the clasp several times:

Weave back into the band, knot in several places and then cut your thread.

Step 35: To attach the clasp to the other end of your band, thread your needle with the tail thread from Step 1.
