GARDEN NECKLACE

An easy and free pattern, fully illustrated with detailed step-by-step instructions, great for beginner beaders. Although I use bicone crystals, you could easily use Fire Polished or round beads instead.

Materials (for a 16-inch necklace, not including clasp):
• Waxed Nymo or C-Lon thread, size D; or 6lb FireLine, whichever is your preference
• About 300 size 11/0 seeds beads or Delica beads: I used Miyuki Delica #34 Lt. Gold Plated.
• About 80 size 4mm glass pearls (or any 4mm round beads): I used Swarovski Cream glass pearls.
• About 63 size green 4mm bicone crystals: I used Swarovski Khaki.
• About 40 size rose 4mm bicone crystals: I used Swarovski Rose Satin.
• clasp

Step 16: Continue back down through the seed bead and the green crystal (both highlighted in RED):

Repeat Steps 3 to 16 until your necklace is the length you want, minus about a half-inch and the length of your clasp.

Step 17: To attach one end of the clasp, go through the seed bead next to the green crystal that you exited at the end of the last step (highlighted in RED).

String three seed beads.

Go through the clasp and then back through the last seed bead that you just strung:

Step 18: String two more seed beads.

Go back through the seed bead you went through at the beginning of Step 17 (highlighted in RED):

Circle round through the seed beads and the clasp twice to reinforce it.

To attach the other end of the clasp, thread your needle with the tail from Step 1. Repeat Steps 17 and 18.
