LADY JANE'S NECKLACE

Redesigned and updated from 2009, my Lady Jane's Necklace pattern now includes bead substitution instructions for super-sizing the design using larger beads! Use size 15/0 seed beads, 3mm fire-polished beads, 4mm bicone crystal beads and 3mm round glass pearls to bead up the redesigned original necklace or super-size the design using size 11/0 seed beads, 4mm fire-polished beads, 6mm bicone crystal beads and 4mm round glass pearls. Although I used specific types of crystal beads in the step-by-step directions, you can use most any type of bead as long as you stick to the specified bead size noted in the pattern's Materials list.

This pattern matches Lady Jane's Earrings and Lady Jane's Bracelet and the complete set is available as the Lady Jane Pattern Collection.

Stitch: Right-angle weave

Beads Used: Redesigned original: Size 15 seed beads, 3mm fire-polished beads, 4mm bicone crystals, 3mm glass pearls. Super-sized: Size 11 seed beads, 4mm fire-polished beads, 6mm bicone crystals, 4mm glass pearls. Center-drilled drop bead of your choice in size and type for both.

Approx Finished Size: Redesigned original: About .75 inches wide to desired length. Super-sized: About 1.25 inches wide to desired length.

• About 500 size 15/0 seed beads: Miyuki #457 Bronze
• About 80 size 3mm fire-polished beads: Czech Garnet
• About 22 size 4mm bicone crystals: Swarovski Siam (discontinued so you can use Preciosa Siam)
• About 70 size 3mm round glass pearls: Swarovski Bright Gold glass pearls (discontinued so you can use Aztec Gold Czech round beads, or any 3mm Czech gold bead you prefer)
• Center-drilled drop bead: Bright Gold 11x8mm pear (#5821)

• About 350 size 11/0 seed beads: Toho #223 Antique Bronze
• About 54 size 4mm fire-polished beads: Dark Ruby or you can use regular Ruby
• About 14 size 6mm bicone crystals: Preciosa Siam
• About 50 size 4mm round glass pearls: Swarovski Bright Gold glass pearls (discontinued so you can use Aztec Gold Czech round beads, or any 4mm Czech gold bead you prefer)
